Type of degree: Bachelor's Degree Minimum Level of Experience Required: 5 - 7 years of job related experience Strong knowledge of healthcare finance principles as they relate to physician networks, including operating and capital budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, provider compensation, productivity metrics, and practice-level performance analysis. Advanced financial and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends and risks, and translate analysis into clear, actionable insights for leadership and physician audiences. Proven experience managing budgeting and forecasting processes, including rolling forecasts, multi-year financial projections, variance analysis, and assumption development. Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate operational and financial implications of decisions and recommend practical solutions. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts, assumptions, and results to non-financial stakeholders, including physicians and practice leaders. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency. Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with finance colleagues, operational leaders, physicians, and cross-functional partners. High level of initiative, accountability, and judgment, with the ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate issues or seek guidance. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling) and strong working knowledge of financial and budgeting systems; experience with healthcare financial systems and decision support tools preferred. Understanding of data governance, internal controls, and confidentiality requirements related to financial, provider, and organizational information.
