Pharm or PharmD Area of Study or Major: Pharmacy Preferred Educational Qualifications: Master's degree in pharmacy administration, healthcare administration, business, or other relevant subject area Position Specific Testing Requirement: N/A Minimum Level of Experience Required: 3 - 5 years of job-related experience Prior Job Title or Occupational Experience: Health-system pharmacist with infusion experience Prior Specific Functional Responsibilities: N/A Preferred Experience: Completion of an ASHP accredited PGY1 or PGY2 pharmacy residency in health system pharmacy administration and leadership or equivalent work experience Other Experience Requirements: N/A Managerial skills necessary to plan, organize, direct and control the pharmacy operational activities Ability to work in a complex team environment and to collaborate with both external and internal professionals and other customers Appreciation of age-specific needs of pediatric to geriatric populations with regards to drug therapy and services Excellent verbal and written communication skills Computer skills - word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint®, drug databases Familiarity with various software, equipment, and technology necessary to provide pharmacy services Able to demonstrate skills in prioritization, problem solving, vision setting, team building, decision making, time management, mentorship, change management, scholarship, teaching, and strategic planning Knowledge of pharmacy services within an ever-changing health care environment Knowledge of laws and regulations regarding pharmacy Positive, self-starter with a willingness to try new ideas Good judgment and ability to act decisively at the right time Ability to develop consensus and promote teamwork Ability to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction for employees, patients, visitors, physicians, and external stakeholders Current licensure as a registered pharmacist by the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy, or eligibility to become licensed within 60 days of employment start date Board certification in Sterile Compounding through Board of Pharmacy Specialists (BPS), preferred
