About the Role

Clarvida is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Clinician to provide evidence-based behavioral health services to individuals and families participating in our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). This role provides group, individual, and family therapy to youth and adult clients experiencing mental health disorders while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote recovery, stability, and long-term success.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strengths-based, trauma-informed, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals and families
  • Facilitate Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) group therapy sessions for youth and adult clients in accordance with program requirements
  • Provide individual and family therapy services as clinically indicated
  • Utilize and follow approved clinical curriculum and treatment protocols during group sessions
  • Develop therapeutic relationships while maintaining professional clinical boundaries
  • Monitor assigned clients for medication compliance, side effects, and treatment effectiveness, communicating concerns with psychiatrists and clinical leadership as appropriate
  • Coordinate care with referral sources, providers, schools, community agencies, and other natural supports
  • Provide treatment recommendations, coordinate services, and submit weekly progress updates for active clients
  • Participate in crisis intervention services, including 24/7 on-call crisis coverage with supervisory support
  • Complete clinical documentation, treatment plans, service authorizations, and progress notes in accordance with agency, payer, and state requirements
  • Submit all required documentation by noon of the business day following service delivery
  • Maintain a minimum productivity expectation of 80% through billable services
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with community partners and referral sources
  • Participate in individual supervision, group supervision, staff meetings, and agency meetings
  • Complete required agency, regulatory, and continuing education training to maintain clinical competency and licensure
  • Complete documentation required for quality improvement initiatives, outcomes measurement, and state reporting requirements
  • Utilize the electronic medical record (EMR) and other clinical systems to maintain accurate client records
  • Travel within the community to provide services as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or another Human Services-related field
  • Eligible for registration as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)
  • Experience providing behavioral health services to individuals and families
  • Experience facilitating group therapy and delivering evidence-based interventions
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and behavioral health treatment planning
  • Strong documentation, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and community providers
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related Human Services field
  • Active or eligible residency toward LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or other applicable behavioral health licensure
  • QMHP-A registration for adult services and/or QMHP-C registration for child and adolescent services
  • Previous Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), outpatient behavioral health, or community mental health experience
  • Experience providing services through telehealth platforms
