Summary

As an entry-level Microbiology Field Technician at Quantus, Inc., you will play a vital role in supporting the compliance and quality of laboratory equipment and manufacturing cleanrooms for clients regulated by the EMA, FDA, and ISO. This position involves conducting on-site microbial and chemical sampling, testing, and environmental monitoring, offering an exciting opportunity for recent graduates to launch their careers in the life sciences industry while contributing to healthcare breakthroughs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site sampling of laboratory equipment and manufacturing cleanrooms under supervision to ensure conformance to operational specifications.
• Perform microbial and chemical sampling techniques for areas such as cleanrooms, biological safety cabinets, water systems, laminar flow hoods, gowning, and personnel.
• Assist in Cleaning Verification Services, Environmental Monitoring, Compressed Gas Testing, and Steam Quality Testing.
• Collect, transport, and document field samples from client sites to the microbiology laboratory (company vehicle provided).
• Accurately record and analyze data following regulatory requirements and internal SOPs.
• Adhere to strict contamination control procedures, including proper gowning into Grade A and Grade B cleanrooms and following aseptic techniques.
• Maintain and calibrate sampling equipment with guidance to ensure optimal performance.
• Build strong customer relationships by supporting calibration and maintenance programs with a proactive attitude.
• Follow Quantus SOPs, customer protocols, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Participate in training to develop technical and professional skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred (recent graduates encouraged to apply).
• Familiarity with microbial sampling or lab techniques through coursework or internships.
• Adhere to strict contamination control procedures, including proper gowning into Grade A and Grade B cleanrooms and following aseptic techniques.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for handling equipment and samples.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, and ability to learn custom software).
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to pass a drug and background check.

Salary Description

$43,000 to $48,000
