Duties and Responsibilities:

Conducts microbiological sampling such as portable water, purified water, water for injection, pure steam, compressed gas, and nitrogen.

• Routine Cleaning: Perform scheduled cleaning of clean rooms, including floors, walls, ceilings, and equipment, using approved cleaning agents and methods.


• Documentation: Accurately document all cleaning activities in logbooks and cleaning records according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).


• Compliance: Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines to maintain a sterile environment.


• Inventory Management: Manage and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required for clean room operations.


• Training: Participate in ongoing training programs to stay current with industry best practices and regulatory changes.


• Incident Reporting: Report any deviations or incidents that may impact clean room integrity to the Facility Manager immediately.

Performs other duties as assigned.

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. Must be able to bend at the waist and knees as well as twist at the trunk. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to wear laboratory protective gowning and equipment, including but not limited to gowning, goggles, face shields, respirators, and protective gloves. Personal protective equipment and Respirators are essential for the health and safety of employees.
