Microsoft BI Developer PositionScope of PositionDesign, develop, test, and implement Business Intelligence solutions.Solution delivery using the Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI) tools:o SQL Server 2005 and 2008 Reporting Serviceso SQL Server 2005 and 2008 Analysis Serviceso SQL Server 2005 and 2008 Integration ServicesDay to Day Responsibilitieso Work with end users to elicit and document reporting and analysis solution requirementso Develop solutions using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services, Analysis Services, and Reporting Serviceso Learn and follow appropriate internal processes for solution development, testing, and documentationo Work with end users to test solutions and refine solutions based on feedbackRequired Skillso Demonstrated technical knowledge and skills with Microsoft SQL Server Business Intelligence tools: Integration Services, Analysis Services, and Reporting Serviceso Established knowledge of SQL (SQL Server, Oracle) complex queries, views, stored procedureso In depth understanding of MDX o Experience working with OLTP database architectureso Ability to design data warehouse and reporting database architectureso Ability to work directly and independently with end users in all phases of solution development from requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, and go-liveDesired Skills o Effective end-user relationship skillso Ability to operate effectively in a large diverse work teamo Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and managemento Knowledge of project management processesEducation and Experience4 year degree and at least 4 yrs experience in Information Technology.Soft Skills (Communication/Team/Leadership)o Good written and verbal communication skillso Ability to work comfortably with people at all levels of the organization from management, to peers, to operatorso Self-starter and takes ownership for deliverables and deadlineso Team player Ability to maintain work-life balance

Must Haves:
