Microsoft Software Developer/Full Stack Developer - Excellent Benefits Package

We are seeking a Full stak Microsoft Developer to become an integral part of the PMO Software Development Team! This immediate Contract role (which is currently 6-12 months with possible extension) puts you front and center where you will be responsible for creating and modifying computer application software or specialized utility programs.

The Microsoft Developer will work with project manager to deliver technology solutions on this program to transform the current Control organization, facility, system and technology infrastructure into an industry leading Operations Control Center of the future. The CCM Technology project team is tasked with implementing the technology roadmap initiatives and projects that are required to realize the overall goals and objectives of the Control Center Modernization project.

Areas of responsibility include requirements gathering, testing, stakeholder interviews, creating initiative artifacts and documentation, technology research and technology implementation.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years software development experience on Windows platform with at least 2 of the following programming languages .Net, Java, Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, VBScript, etc.
• Azure Dev Ops knowledge or experience a strong plus 
• Design and development of batch applications
• API programming with RESTful and/or SOAP based Web Services
• ETL tools such as Microsoft SQL Server Integration Service
• Proven ability to learn quickly to develop applications based on vendor product SDKs
• Must understand SQL Server and/or Oracle databases and the connection protocols such as: ODBC, JDBC, etc.
• Demonstrated understanding of software development lifecycle
• Strongly prefer knowledge/expertise with large scale IT project deployments applications
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as analytical and critical thinking skills
