Mid- Level System Tester

We are seeking a Mid-Level System Tester to conduct software testing, debugging, performance optimization, and validation for mission-critical defense applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in microservice architectures, cloud computing, database systems, and software security compliance, ensuring robust and scalable testing methodologies aligned with DoD standards.

• Develop and implement microservice architectures for web and application services, ensuring virtual instances, load balancing, automated surge capability, and performance monitoring.
• Test and validate applications using traditional SQL-based and NoSQL data management systems with full-text search functionality.
• Perform requirements analysis, software design, development, integration, and testing to optimize defense applications.
• Implement security controls compliant with Federal information systems and DoD cybersecurity protocols.
• Conduct bug fixing, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure optimal software functionality.
• Develop test cases and automated testing solutions within Agile Scrum environments.
• Provide configuration management and maintain testing documentation to enhance software reliability.
• Utilize Java and scripting languages such as Python for testing automation and system validation.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and reports to DoD stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of testing outcomes.

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field OR equivalent work experience.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years supporting development and testing within Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Python for automated testing.
  • Experience in microservice architectures, cloud environments, database technologies, and security compliance.
  • Ability to assess and improve test automation strategies for mission-critical defense applications.

• Experience working with classified defense systems and secure DoD infrastructure.
• Familiarity with AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, and secure cloud environments.
• Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, AWS Certified Developer, or DoD-approved system testing credentials.
