Mid Shift Weighmaster/Dispatcher

What You'll Be Doing

• Responsible for accurately weighting and recording materials using specialized scales.

• Create and maintain customer job files, shipping records, and signed delivery tickets.

• Schedule and dispatch personnel, equipment, and service vehicles to appropriate locations according to customer specifications or need.

• Learn the products produced at the plant, including product codes, billing, and receiving systems.

• Distribute loading instructions to drivers and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

• Maintain strong communication with customers and the Heidelberg Materials team to create a safe, productive working environment.

• Participate in other duties or special projects as assigned.

• The Shift will be Monday - Friday, 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM and rotational Saturdays 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

Essential Experience and Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office products.

• Ability to work both independently and within a team.

• Flexibility to adjust to changing company or customer needs, with dependable and consistent attendance.

• Bilingual a plus.

Work Environment

• Office setting within a plant or quarry environment.

• Interaction with drivers, plant personnel, and customers.

• Fast-paced and dynamic work conditions.

Physical Demands of the Job

• Ability to sit for extended periods while using a computer.

• Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.

• May need to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

• Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to loud noise, dust, and varying weather conditions.
