Middle Office Technical Analyst - Investment Operations - Urgent Position

- Job Title: Middle Office Technical Analyst Investment Operations - Location: New York, NY - Duration: Long-term contract - Need locals or candidates from the eastern region. No OPT's / CPT. For H1B's, visa copy, passport number, latest i94, and travel history is mandatory. - Candidates with previous FIS Hedge Fund experience in recent years are preferred. - Educational Requirements: Advanced degree from a top university is strongly desired. - Role: Assist with advancing the technology capabilities of the Middle Office and Controllers businesses. Lead projects, gather and document business requirements, and coordinate the development, testing, implementation, and ongoing support of these requirements. - Responsibilities: Understand and produce business and functional requirements, establish development approach and timeline, maintain project plans and other project artifacts, develop test cases, communicate effectively with stakeholders, assist with analysis of platform processes, ensure SLAs and other key metrics are met, identify best practices, and act as an escalation point for support issues. - Minimum Experience: 8+ years of full-cycle experience in SDLC methodologies and approaches, 3+ years of experience with C#, Python, SQL, and Excel Macros, experience with Business Analysis methodologies and use case modeling, experience with data warehouses & business intelligence platforms, knowledge of credit instruments, experience with a leading fund accounting platform (FIS VPM preferred), experience with systems integration of applications infrastructure hosted in cloud providers (AWS and Azure), excellent communication skills, self-directed and motivated, team player with a strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in a high-intensity, fast-paced environment.
