Who you are:
You are passionate about seeing students know God, find freedom in groups, and discover their calling in serving the local Church. You are adaptable, fun, and have a heart to build teams of volunteers to do ministry with students. Good day or bad day, people feel the love of Jesus when they are around you. You have strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to lead teams and students. You exhibit strong theological knowledge and can confidently lead a midweek service in Student Ministry.
What you'll do:
- Build a thriving team. Recruit, develop, and shepherd volunteer leaders who are equipped, cared for, and empowered to lead.
- Show up in student’s world. Lead your team in building a consistent presence on school campuses and in students’ lives.
- Build groups where students belong. Champion groups as the primary place for discipleship and every student is known, cared for, and loved.
- Communicate with clarity. Teach God’s Word with clarity, conviction, and authenticity in ways that engage students and inspire life change.
- Champion excellent ministry environments. Partner with Central Students to execute student ministry programming with excellence.
- Attend and help execute summer camps, mission trips, and other special events
- Participate in general pastoral duties as needed at the Campus for families and church members as needed (counseling, benevolence, baptisms, etc.)
Skills & Experience you’ve had:
- Previous experience leading within a student ministry
- Leadership, teaching, counseling education/experience
