Middle School Spanish Teacher - LONG TERM SUB

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Middle School Spanish Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating an engaging and supportive learning environment for students in grades 6 through 8. This role involves developing lesson plans, teaching Spanish language skills, and fostering a love for the language and culture among students.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.

- Teach Spanish language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.

- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.

- Incorporate cultural elements into lessons to enhance students' understanding of the Spanish-speaking world.

- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and classroom activities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Spanish, or a related field.

- Experience teaching middle school students preferred.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.

- Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
