Mid-Level Bankruptcy Litigation Associate - Wilmington, DE

Ice Miller LLP is seeking a mid-level Bankruptcy Associate to join its growing Wilmington, DE office. This role offers the opportunity to support a sophisticated bankruptcy and restructuring practice handling complex matters for national and regional clients.  The associate will work closely with senior attorneys on complex bankruptcy proceedings representing a broad range of stakeholders, including debtors, secured lenders, creditors’ committees, and unsecured creditors. Matters routinely involve high-stakes litigation and contested issues in Chapter 11 cases.

The ideal candidate will have experience:

• Supporting complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings for national and regional clients


• Representing debtors, secured lenders, creditors' committees, and unsecured creditors


• Drafting pleadings, motions, and related filings and participating in court proceedings


• Collaborating with attorneys across offices and practice groups on restructuring matters

The ideal candidate will also have:

• Three to seven years of bankruptcy or restructuring experience within a law firm environment


• Experience in Chapter 11 matters and creditor-side representation


• Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills


• Delaware bankruptcy experience 


• A J.D. from an accredited law school


• Active and in good standing bar admission to the Delaware state bar
