PDS Tech Commercial, Inc is currently hiring for a Mid-Level Product Review Engineer position in Heath, Ohio!

Job Title: Mid-Level Product Review Engineer

Job Type: Full time; Consultant (12 Months )

Location: Heath, Ohio 43056 - 100% onsite

Schedule: Monday to Friday - 2nd Shift 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Pay Rate: 59.00 to 63.00 per hour

Job Description:

The selected candidate will be responsible for production support guidance, navigation and control systems for use by the U.S. Navy. Close coordination with internal and external customers and functional representatives from Operations, Quality Assurance and other engineering disciplines will be required.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Apply knowledge of Boeing design principles to assess and resolve product/process issues through the product lifecycle.

  • Analyze, conduct root cause analysis and develops dispositions for design non-conformances.

  • Apply engineering principles to research technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by customer and designs interim and final engineering solutions.

  • Identify documents, analyzes reported problems and communicates deviations that could impact design intent and safety; recommends and manages resolution.

  • Develop and implement product/process improvements.

  • Support Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and participates in design reviews.

  • Represent the engineering community in the build through post production environment.

  • Ensure supplier and build partner compliance with Boeing standards.

  • Develop customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment.

  • Participate in on-site disabled product repair teams and accident investigation or support team.

  • Analyze damage repair or structural modification to determine appropriate jacking and shoring, prevent collateral damage and assure a safe work environment.

  • Design interim structural repairs and conducts static strength analysis.

  • Develop non-destructive test procedures, tools and standards.

  • Conduct simple static strength analysis.

Required Qualifications (Experience/Skills):

  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

  • 3+ years of experience generating/approving work instructions, work orders, planning documents.

  • 3+ years of experience in NCM, or Nonconformance Management.

  • Domestic travel possible 10%.

Preferred Qualifications (Experience/Skills):

  • 3+ years of experience applying Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), or other similar rigorous problem/analysis/resolution, processes to engineering development and manufacturing/production efforts.

  • Experience interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, 3D models, wiring diagrams, and/or interface control documents.

  • Experience in electronics and electro-mechanical assemblies.



Pay Details: 59.00 to 63.00 per hour
