Mid-level System Administrator

 

Visionist has an exciting new, fully FUNDED opportunity for a Mid-level System Administrator on our PRIME contract. Visionist software developers perform reverse engineering and low-level development to identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigations/solutions across a wide range of devices and software.  This mission is supporting our most recent prime contract award.  If you like rewarding work in developing tools for user interaction, then this is the place for you.

Your contributions are… 
  - Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain IT systems
  - Escalate and communicate status to agency management and internal customers
  - Support developers with the setup, configuration, and installation of specialized equipment
  - Partner with the ISSO to identify, remediate, and patch system vulnerabilities

 

Requirements for your new career…
  - Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. (Additional 5 years of experience may substitute degree)
  - DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required, including one of the following: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP
  - 10 years of experience in systems administration (8 years with a Master's degree)
  - Experience provisioning, configuring, and maintaining VMware virtual machines and environments
  - Windows systems administration experience

Salary range: $135,000 - $195,000
