Job Description - Mid-Market Account Executive - PNW

What is The Role


Elastic, the Search AI company, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying and closing new business opportunities, with a focus on driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base. This is an opportunity for those who are passionate about empowering companies through cutting-edge search technology and analytics, enabling them to unlock the full potential of their data.


What You Will Be Doing



  • Identify and quality new business opportunities through various channels including cold calling, networking and industry events.

  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and progression of leads through the sales cycle while successfully navigating a complex sales cycle.

  • Develop a comprehensive business plan leveraging community, customer, and partner ecosystems to drive significant growth within your territory.

  • Position yourself as a trusted advisor, assisting users and customers in harnessing the full power of Elastic's search analytics to transform their data into actionable insights.

  • Identify and develop new use cases, showcasing how Elastic’s solutions enable users to work more efficiently and intelligently.

  • Collaborate closely with various Elastic business functions to align sales strategies and ensure an exceptional customer experience.


What You Bring



  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a full-cycle sales role, preferably in the technology or software industry.

  • Consistent track record of quota overachievement and strong customer references.

  • Strong prospecting and lead generation skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities with a proven track record of negotiation and closing.

  • Adept at building relationships and establishing credibility with both developers and executives.

  • Consistent and accurate sales forecasting skills using SFDC.

  • Enthusiasm for the Open Source model and a deep appreciation for the community relying on our solutions.


Bonus Points



  • Experience in selling within an Open Source model.

  • Prior experience selling into the Enterprise accounts included in this territory.
