Midwife

Great opportunity for a Midwife to join a successful and diverse OBGYN group!

Community Medical and Dental Care is looking to hire a full-time or part-time Nurse Midwife to join our team of dedicated providers. There will be a great mix of gynecology and obstetrics and the time will be split between the clinic and hospital.  We perform many procedures in the office. Our physicians are willing to teach anything that the Midwife needs help with.  The hospital has in-house 24-7 laborist coverage in rare emergent cases in the absence of the practice obstetricians.  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Completion of an accredited Certified Nurse Midwife program.
• Board certification by American College of Nurse Midwives.
• 1-3 years minimum experience providing full scope midwifery care highly desirable.
• Experience working in a clinic or FQHC serving a low-income population preferred.
• Ability to operate all equipment used in clinic sites and in hospital practice.
