MIG Welder / Fitter

Seeking to add production capacity.

Job Essentials include the use of hand welding equipment to MIG or TIG weld components. Fabricate and fit components. Assemble components to build lift truck chassis. Develop fixtures and other work aids to hold and align parts. Clean finished chassis edges and spatter with portable grinder, hand file or scraper

• Assess job and plan fitting.
  


• Weld chassis, components and sub-components.
  


• Handheld Plasma and Torch cutting as required.
  


• Clean, grind and finish welded product.
  

Requirements

• Minimum educational requirement: high school diploma or equivalent.
  


• Two+ years of experience in the field (suggested but not required).
  


• Be able to quickly perform basic math (such as adding and subtraction).
  


• Strong team player.
  


• Have excellent communication skills.
