MIG Welder/Assembler

Pay: $22-23/hr.

Hours:

• 1st shift - Mon-Fri (7am to 3:30pm)
• 2nd shift - Mon-Thu (3:30pm to 2am) - Must be able to train on 1st shift for 2-4 weeks 

Description:

• The MIG Welder/Assembler will assist in the assembly of enclosure systems. This will require knowledge and understanding of bare wire MIG welding, reading a tape measure, and blueprints.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of MIG Welding experience (Required)
• Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints (test will be required)
• Ability to accurately read and interpret a tape measure (test will be required).
• Ability to pass a bare wire MIG weld test (horizontal and vertical)
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Ability to lift and maneuver metal components a minimum of 50 lbs
• Flexibility to work in other related departments as required.
• Some overhead crane experience is a plus.

Job Duties:

• Read and work off blueprints
• Follow written and verbal work instructions
• Lift and maneuver metal components a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Read and interpret a basic tape measure
• Proficient use of basic hand tools such as grinder, cut-off wheel, and magnetic drill.
• Assemble large metal enclosures.
• MIG tack Weld when needed
