Fleming Trailers, founded over 40 years ago, is one of the oldest trailer manufacturers in the area. Fleming Trailers is owned by Handi Products, which helps people live a better life through products within the wheelchair accessibility, material handling, and slip and fall prevention arenas. Our national sales team works closely with customers to create custom solutions for a variety of industrial, commercial, institutional, and residential requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential duties and responsibilities of the MIG Welder/Fabricator, other duties may be assigned.

• Building metal trailers and ramps, which includes cutting, welding, grinding, and cleaning
• Assist with general warehouse cleaning and maintenance
• Assist with moving raw materials and finished products around via forklift

Requirements

• Structural Steel MIG Welder with minimum 4 years experience
• Previous trailer fabricating a plus
• Must be extremely detailed and a quick learner
• Must be highly motivated and positive individual
• Exceptional listener with excellent time management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multitask
• High level of integrity and work ethic
• Ability to build items with and without blueprints
• Knowledge and experience using shears, brake presses, drills, grinders and forklift is preferred, but not required. Training can be provided for the right candidate
• Knowledge of building fixtures and jigs
• Good verbal and written communication
• Will assist in tracking of supplies and raw materials
• Must be a team player and problem solver

Starting salary is $22+ per hour dependent upon experience.
