Job Summary
The position requires a skilled Structural Welder to support our commercial HVAC manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in MIG structural welding, fitting, measuring, and cutting, with a strong focus on precision and quality.
Requirements & Qualifications to Get Job
Certified welder after completion of a technical school (or equivalent)
Minimum of 2 years’ experience welding
High attention to detail / “Measure twice, cut once.”
Proficient with basic math (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication)
Ability to work effectively & independently or as a member of a team
18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Able to communicate in English
High school diploma / GED
Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to: eye & hearing protection, gloves, steel-toed boots, hard hat, and flame retardant work clothes, welding gear etc.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. & work in varying environmental conditions (heat, dust, noise, vibration, humidity).
Preferences to Get Job
1-2 years of Structural Fitting (preferred)
Knowledge of basic tools for fabrication or other projects as specified by Supervisor
What you do on Job
Read and interpret blueprints to determine project requirements.
Source and prepare materials for welding and fabrication.
Measure and cut materials according to specifications.
Perform primarily MIG welding, with occasional TIG and Arc welding, ensuring structural integrity.
Inspect finished work to verify compliance with design tolerances and quality standards.
Utilize tools such as grinders to refine products and welds.
Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
Collaborate with team members and assist in other processes as directed by the supervisor.
