Overview

Helios Defense Solutions LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Military Leadership Instructor immediately on a contract basis to support the 81st Training Support Squadron at Keesler AFB, MS.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for providing full-time services supporting Military Training Leader (MTL) Deliberate Leadership Education (DLE) course delivery, curriculum refinement, and survey management, data analysis and trend monitoring.

• Deliver interactive modules in the Basic Military Training Leader Course and Advanced Military Training Course for students using lesson material plans approved by the Government. 
• Deliver maintenance lessons using lesson material provided by the Government as part of the model to develop deliberate leadership education throughout a MTL’s tour of duty. 
• Advise on ways to improve the effectiveness of values based instruction or its delivery to include facilitation of experiential learning techniques. 
• Review Plans of Instruction/Lesson Plans to advise on ways to improve the effectiveness of values-based curriculum and its delivery; includes collaboration with the Center for Character and Leadership Development (CCLD) and the 81st Training Group (TRG) Faculty Development training development team. 
• Plan, design, and administer surveys to gather data regarding DLE from the target audience. 
• Use evaluation methods and techniques to assess the adequacy of the training program aimed at developing and maintaining a productive, positive, professional organizational climate. 
• Provide best practice information on program evaluation. 
• Review all data collection methods and raw data collected through surveys semi-annually, ensuring data is accurate, complete and consistent. Raw/qualitative data will be converted into a usable format using statistical methods to identify patterns and trends in the data. 
• Provide a written report or a thorough slide presentation of analyses quarterly 81st Training Support Squadron Support Flight and other key MTL leaders. 

Requirements

• Master’s degree with concentration of 18 graduate hours in counseling, Education, Management, Human Resources, Human Relations, Business Administration, Public Administration, Organizational Leadership or Organizational Behavior; and extensive experience building trust, mutual respect and professionalism within highly diverse teams. 

Or

• Master’s degree that includes at least 125 hours of intermediate or higher coach-specific certification training in a recognized Coaching Certification Course and Approved Coach Specific Training Hours (ACTP) program. 

Or

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years’ experience in coach-specific certification training along with certification in a recognized coaching certification course.
