Job Summary
We are seeking a Millwright to travel with our team! As a Millwright, you will work closely with the entire team to assemble, erect, and install both major and minor equipment, as well as maintain all current and past equipment to ensure everything is running smoothly. You will also be responsible for making any modifications to equipment as needed, and may help train new staff on existing equipment to ensure it is properly utilized. The ideal candidate has experience in industrial maintenance, has a great analytical mind, and strong attention to detail.
90% of the work is travel. Hotels and travel costs are paid for by the employer, plus $50 per day per diem.
pay is based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, erect, and install equipment accurately and safely
- Make minor and major repairs or maintenance to equipment
- Work closely with the team to ensure everyone understands how to safely operate and maintain all existing equipment
Qualifications
- Experience in industrial maintenance is desired but not required
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to learn under pressure and navigate new situations
- Drivers license
- Ability to operate forklifts and aerial lifts
- The ability to operate a telehandler and a mobile crane is a plus
