Millwright Crew Member

Frisbie Construction Co., Inc., located in Gypsum, KS, is a family-owned construction company specializing in commercial grain facilities and material handling systems, since 1949.

We are looking for Millwrights to join our team!  Our crews leave from Gypsum, KS on Monday mornings and return on Friday afternoon.  If you're looking for a challenging and rewarding career, this is the one for you!

Individuals are required to be on the road four night a week, be willing and capable of working proficiently at heights, demonstrate the ability to use construction tools, must demonstrate an active interest and willingness to promote safety on the job sites and willingness to work on a team.

Physical Requirements include:

• The ability to climb a vertical ladder up to heights exceeding 100'.


• The ability to lift 100 pounds.


• The ability to work overhead at heights exceeding 100' with the use of a safety belt and other safety equipment.


• Must have motor skills necessary to bolt pieces together in awkward positions.


• Must be able to bend, stoop, and have a full range of movement with both arms and both legs.


• Must have hand-to-eye coordination to use a hammer to drive nails or use a chisel and use other hand tools.
