PotlatchDeltic St. Maries Complex has an opening for an industrial millwright apprentice in the Plywood Mill and Lumber Mill of our facility. Responsibilities include but are not limited to safely installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting mechanical systems, components of machinery and equipment in a Plywood and Lumber Industrial mill setting (i.e. conveying systems, production machinery, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and packaging equipment).  The Plywood Mill is a 3-shift operation, and the Lumber Mill is a 2-shift operation.

The hourly rate for this position is $29.59-$33.28, depending on experience.

Requirements:

  Must be proficient in cutting, welding, hydraulics, blueprint reading and some fabrication.

  Basic computer skills required.

  
  


• 
  

  Must have basic math skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Must be able to work in temperature extremes.

  
  


• 
  

  Must be able to communicate well both written and verbally.

  
  


• 
  

  Job will require physical activity such as lifting heavy items up to 50 lbs. (cannot have any lifting restrictions on file).
