The Mini Bar Attendant facilitates the replenishment of guestroom honor/private bars, maintains the inventory of the private bar storage area in a neat and organized manner, and assists with in-room dining (IRD) orders, tray preparation and tray runs when needed. Acts as an advocate for the hotel, be a creator of ridiculously personal experiences, and develop relationships with guests that will compel them to return.

• Is an inspirational example able to motivate team members to be consistently engaged in serving. others, always looking for that opportunity.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

• Memorize the organization of the mini bar and accurate placement of each product. Be familiar with IRD carts. Ensure the bar cart is stocked at the start and end of your shift.


• Check expiration dates on products daily.


• Setup and breakdown scheduled coffee service and water stations each morning/afternoon by predetermined time according to Arlo Hotels standards.


• Become familiar with the technology used to record items taken from mini bar. Provide a report to the front office at the end of the day.


• Clean spills, broken glass and debris promptly after incidents.


• Pick up trays en route back to station, during slow periods, and on designated tray runs.


• Assist with monthly inventories and deep cleans of honor bars to ensure quality and cleanliness.


• Check refrigerator and baskets in all rooms assigned for private bar items that have been consumed.


• Record used items by room number and restock used items in each room.


• Keep room refrigerators, baskets, and storage room clean & organized.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Hotel experience preferred or commercial cleaning companies.


• Ability to frequently lift, carry, pull and push up to 15lbs


• Ability to occasionally lift, carry, pull and push up to 35lbs


• Ability to reach hand and arms in any direction and kneel, stoop or crouch repeatedly. Described Motions: Bending, Standing Reaching and Kneeling      


• Ability to obtain and/or maintain on the job training certification in relation to health and safety.

Launching its fifth hotel in the portfolio, Arlo continues to break ground, literally and figuratively, with the first hotel in the Wynwood district. The 217-room property, located at 2217 NW Miami Court, opened in November 2022. The hotel consists of 9 floors including a Penthouse suite, a spectacular rooftop pool with an outdoor bar, lounge chairs and four cabanas serving 360 views. The ground floor consists of a lobby lounge, retail shelves, grab and go bodega, as well as full-serviced counter lobby bar and restaurant with indoor/outdoor seating. There will be a separate entertainment area, located on the northeast side of the property. The 3rd floor plays host to an outdoor courtyard with a bar and “beer garden”, a gallery space that concerts into two flex spaces, a game room which can be converted into a private room, interior bar with lounge spaces, a fitness rom, exterior yoga deck, and a hospitality suite.

To bring the art vibes of Wynwood to the property, Arlo Wynwood has interior artwork in collaboration with Indie Walls (an art curator of new and upcoming local artists) and an exterior façade which will feature graffiti and artwork by local Miami-based artists.
