Role Overview:

The Part Time Driver (20 hours/week) - NPS (Non-Public School: Vista School) is responsible for door-to-door transportation of Special Education Students.

Essential Job Duties:

• Provide services in and around the Los Angeles County area

• Pick up and drop off students

• Maintain and update route sheets

• Monitor and maintain order among the students on the school van following school policies.

• Complete daily van safety check including Check and add fuel, oil, and water as needed.

• Submit reports on mechanical defects and other reports as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to meet the insurance underwriting conditions.

• Must have an acceptable driving record

• Ability to interrupt physical altercations among students and administer CPR/First Aid

• May be required to obtain a Class B Driver’s License

What You Bring to VDM:

• Driving experience transporting students

• COVID Vaccination Card (fully vaccinated) required.
