Job Description - Ministry Coordinator

Ministry Coordinator


Reports To: Executive Director of Ministry Support and Care



Job Overview: The Ministry Coordinator will support Hill City Church's objectives through the embodiment of the mission statement: Together, we love God, love others, and make disciples of Jesus Christ. In this role, you will collaborate with the Ministry Support team to ensure all ministry areas within the church have the resources and systems they need. This position will assist in management of the church-wide calendar, plan and execute church-wide events, work with the People and Culture team to ensure workplace excellence and fun, and assist in the strategic planning process with all ministry areas. 




Responsibilities: 



  • Work closely with Ministry Support team to evaluate, develop and deploy resources that serve Hill City's ministry areas

  • Maintain and grow necessary ministry support resources such as project management softwares and organization-wide platforms

  • Coordinate logistics and planning of church-wide events (Christmas Eve, Easter, Marriage Conference, Together We Pray, etc.)

    • Lead resourcing efforts for church-wide events

    • Oversee church-wide event budgets



  • Collaborate with the Ministry Support team in annual ministry strategic planning and budgeting process

  • Support People and Culture team in projects and events as needed

  • Assist Hill City Staff as needed



  • Training, organizational development, and processes required of all staff




Qualifications:



  • 2+ years of experience in administrative roles

  • Bachelor's degree or applicable experience

  • Interest in going on a future Hill City church plant

  • Detail-oriented and able to complete tasks and projects with tenacity

  • Highly collaborative and strong team-working skills

  • Organized, self-driver who is able to take general direction and produce results 

  • Proficient in Google Suite platform usage; experience with other project management softwares is a plus
