Ministry Coordinator- Ocean Kids

The Ocean Kids Coordinator serves to assist the Ocean Kids team by leading and developing the team of Ocean Kids volunteers, along with executing weekend needs, in hopes to create an atmosphere of faith, encouragement, worship and truth for elementary aged kids at Ocean Church.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contribute to the overall vision and execution of Ocean Kids


• Help oversee, manage, and co-lead all Ocean Kids volunteers, gatherings, and events


• Help recruit, onboard, disciple, and develop volunteers; assist with placement, connection, and growth


• Assist with scheduling and coordination of the Ocean Kids volunteer team


• Brainstorm, develop, and execute creative ways to care for volunteers


• Help develop ways to partner with and care for Ocean Kids families and help connect volunteers to families


• Assist the Ocean Kids Pastor in the planning, execution, and promotion of Ocean Kids events, series, and projects (including but not limited to family gifts, Easter and Christmas resources, new family resources, baptisms and baby dedications, and family and worship events


• Complete the weekly tasks necessary to make weekends happen with excellence (i.e. organizing environments, purchasing supplies, and setting up and organizing curriculum and other room elements)


• Help to manage Ocean Kids metrics (attendance, expenses, etc.)
