General Summary:
The Mission Steward is a critical role designed to provide resources to support Goodwill employees that help them navigate personal challenges and achieve their professional goals. This individual will be shaping and evolving the Navigator Program, playing a central role in its design and execution of its effectiveness. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in case management, mentoring, and advocacy, with a passion for tailoring programs to meet the unique needs of individuals. Success in this role will be measured through employee feedback, goal achievement, and progress in retention and advancement within the program, all while fostering an inclusive and supportive environment aligned with the Mission’s core values.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Engage with interested employees to assess their needs and determine the appropriate resources and services to support their personal and career goals.
- Provides community and organization resources to assist employees in achieving their personal goals.
- Documents, tracks and follows-up with employees served in Navigator Program to measure progress and completion of goals.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with employees to track their progress, offer guidance, and make referrals to additional services when necessary.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, educational institutions, and other organizations to expand the resources available to employees.
- Conduct individual or group presentations to inform employees about the Navigator Program, services offered, and how to access resources.
- Identifies gaps in resources, services, and develops new relationships to gain the resources necessary.
- Maintains documentation of all case management activities via timely, thorough, and accurate case note and data entry into the electronic case management system.
- Reports data trends in an anonymous format to determine ways to better serve our employees.
- Tracks and evaluates data to propose continuous improvement and enhancements to the Navigator program.
- Collaborate with the Transitional Job Program Specialist to provide comprehensive support to program participants, including assisting them in transitioning to sustainable employment.

Requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, internet use and willingness to learn and use databases.
- Valid Driver’s license, good driving record and proof of insurance.
Travel Required: Daily travel to different Goodwill locations.
Required education and/or work experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required, experience in behavioral sciences is preferred.
- 3 years of experience assisting individuals with personal or professional career development plans. Mentoring, case management and/or advocacy experience a plus.
