GFA supports national workers serving as the hands and feet of Christ in four main ways. Sponsoring national missionaries to minister to people’s needs, sponsoring children, investing in community development and helping families in need of care or during disasters.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who wants to utilize their skills for the furtherment of the Great Commission. Our ministry seeks to help donors become senders so those who have not heard the Gospel have the opportunity to hear. With being a mission apprentice, you will assist in the Donor Services Department in one of the following areas: Call Center and/or Gift Entry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for missions, a heart to serve, and experience in data entry. There will also be opportunities for full-time employment based on performance and successful completion of the apprenticeship program. Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service: Respond to donor or potential interested person via phone or email while displaying the love of Christ.


2. Call Handling: Handle inbound and outbound calls, answering questions, addressing concerns, and informing donors of specific projects.


3. Data Entry: Accurately enter donor information and interaction details into our database.


4. Ministry/Service Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of our ministry.


5. Team Player/Collaboration: Work as a team player and be willing to serve/assist within different areas in the department and the ministry. 


6. Continuous Learning: Participate in training sessions, workshops, and coaching to improve skills and knowledge. 

Requirements: 

1. US citizenship is required

2. 18 years or older and single

3. High school diploma or equivalent required

4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

5. Customer service experience is preferred but not required.
