The Job
As a Mitigation Manager you will be a member of our mitigation department and will be responsible for the schedules and management of the mitigation team. The Mitigation Manager leads a team of hardworking individuals that are serving others within the community.
What does a Mitigation Manager with Paul Davis do?
Supervisory responsibilities
Management of a group of 20+ mitigation technicians and their schedules
Schedule and hold meetings with mitigation technicians
Trains and supervises mitigation technicians on better business practices, identifying business opportunities, and strategy
Ensuring the team's performance of tarping, board up, water mitigation, mold remediation, contents pack-out, contents pack-in, and cleaning/re-installation services in accordance with Paul Davis and industry specifications
Facilitate team huddles daily
Ensure your crews are always ready to deploy to a site where emergency services are needed
Actively participate in the “ROTOR” process and assist technicians move up through the technician development program
Facilitate monthly goal setting and review meetings with all technicians
Job responsibilities
Technician ROTORing o Hiring and onboarding of all new technicians. o Training of all technicians. o Monthly GSR with all technicians. o Overall upward progression of all technicians through the TDP. o Overall quality of work performed by technicians. o Overall morale of technicians. o Overall efficiency of technicians
Mitigation vehicle checklists and warehouse cleanliness
Quality assurance of T-sheets and on call bonuses
PPE bins
Mitigation Kits (meters, iPads)
Job planning (initial call to customer, scheduling)
Initial loss response
Maintain up to date on-call schedule for technicians
Daily work schedule
Schedule jobs send over from project managers
Schedule technicians to Matterport
Required Skills & Abilities

Ability to work in extreme temperatures
Ability to pass a respirator physical and FIT test
Education & Experience
4 – 7 years mitigation experience required
Proven experience as a leader/supervisor
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
Must already possess or work towards obtaining IICRC WRT certification
Must already possess or work towards obtaining IICRC AMRT certification
Must already possess or work towards obtaining IICRC Carpet Cleaning certification
Must already possess or work towards obtaining IICRC ASD certification
Valid driver's license with a good driving record
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Knowledge of practices and procedures of water, fire, and mold trades
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, solutions, and use of solvents
