What started as a small carpet cleaning business has grown into a full-service restoration company with over 75 employees. We offer a range of services, including water and fire damage restoration, mold removal, trauma cleanup, and more. Position Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to help people restore their homes or businesses after disaster strikes. The ideal candidate will have a sense of urgency and a positive attitude toward helping people in their time of need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review work orders daily and prepare necessary tools and equipment.


• Locate and stop the source of water damage.


• Perform water extraction, setup of air movers, dehumidifiers, and other equipment.


• Move personal property to avoid further damage.


• Remove and dispose of damaged building materials.


• Collect samples (e.g., carpet, flooring, trim work, drywall) for inspection.


• Document damage and progress through photographs and moisture readings.


• Secure drying authorizations and collect deposits from clients.


• Clean up job sites and perform a final walkthrough to ensure everything is in order.


• Maintain and clean equipment after each job.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in mitigation, restoration, or carpet cleaning is a plus, but not required. We’ll train the right person!


• Prior experience working with a van or box truck is a plus.


• Strong communication skills with both teammates and customers.


• Excellent customer service with a compassionate approach.


• Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn.


• Basic math and organizational skills.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift 5–20 lbs regularly.


• Standing, walking, crouching, and kneeling throughout the day.


• Work in varying weather conditions, from mild to hot or cold temperatures.


• Exposure to moderate to loud noise levels.


• Ability to work in tight or confined spaces.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Starting Pay: $17 to $18 per hour (based on experience).


• Overtime Pay: Time and a half for any hours worked over 40 per week.


• Hazard Pay: Increased hourly rate for specific job classifications (e.g., full PPE, mold, sewage cleanup).


• After-Hours Emergency Pay: Time and a half and site visit bonus, plus an availability stipend (when scheduled).
  


• 90 Day Review: Eligible early on for a wage adjustment (if earned/if applicable).


• Annual Reviews: Eligible for a wage adjustment (if earned/if applicable).
  


• Training: Fully paid, hands-on training with our experienced mitigation team.

Schedule:

• 42-45 hours per week, with typical hours from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.


• Occasional early starts (6:30 AM) to accommodate travel time.


• Rotating weekly on-call schedule for any after-hour emergency calls.


• Occasional overnight travel with paid hotel room and per diem provided.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.


• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the office.
