Mitigation Water Technician - Assistant

Reports To: Mitigation Manager

Job Summary: Assistant Water Technicians are responsible for executing the tasks delegated to them by their Lead Technician or Senior Technician. This could include but is not limited to upkeeping cleanliness on the truck, tasks on a job site, or tasks within the warehouse. 

What you will do:

• Execute all tasks delegated by Lead or Senior technician  
• Engage in communication with coworkers, especially Lead or Senior technicians
• Handle on-call duties.
• Assist in disaster efforts in a weather event.
• Assist Lead or Senior Technician with maintaining the cleanliness and inventory of the company vehicle assigned 

What you bring:

• Must be punctual, motivated, display initiative, be reliable, and demonstrate strong leadership skills. 
• Good attitude 
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to read and communicate in the English language

Physical abilities:

• Must be able to frequently lift and carry up 80 pounds. 
• Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours.
• Must be able to sit for at least 6 hours (remember that we can get adjustable desks for many people if needed).
• Must be able to work in outdoor conditions.
• Must be able to work in indoor non-airconditioned conditions.
• Must be able to work in a full-face respirator.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces (such as crawlspaces, attics, etc.)
• Must be able to work in a particulate mask (like N-95).
• Must be able to wear safety glasses or face shield.
• Must be able to work in and around sewage.
• Must be able to work around microbial growth.
