Job Summary

Work as part of the cardiac team. Performs 2 dimensional sonography , produces images of the heart muscles functioning by setting up ultrasound equipment, attaching electrodes to chest and equipment, operating and adjusting equipment, recording cardiac data and measurements.

Essential Functions

• Prepares for examination by checking equipment
• Inventory and stocking supplies
• Reviewing patient schedules
• Reading physicians for specific examinations
• Setting up recording equipment
• Entering patient data into the Echo system
• Performs 2 dimensional sonography ,
  produces images of the heart muscles functioning by setting up ultrasound equipment, attaching electrodes to chest and equipment, operating and adjusting equipment, recording cardiac data and measurements.
• All related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent Required
• Echo equipment
• Basic Computer exp preferred
• Cardiac registry Certification required
• BLS certification required
