Position Summary

The Mobile Crisis Professional works in a collaborative manner to build a partnering relationship with families and others in the home and community to assure that the needs of designated children and their families are respectfully and adequately addressed. In each case the Mobile Crisis Professional will assure that services to children and families are individualized, strengths and needs based, culturally sensitive and responsive, and goal driven. This position requires local travel and flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule in a high-demand work situation.

Essential Responsibilities

1. Assessment. To assure proper assessment the Mobile Crisis Professional will:
   
   
   
   1. gather and understand current and past psychosocial histories
   
   
   2. use diagnostic tools to provide comprehensive information for a treatment plan
   
   
   3. assess risk factors related to safety and well being of all family members
   
   
   4. provide clinical direction that meet the needs of the child and family
   
   
   
   


2. Treatment Plan/ISP development. To assure the development of effective treatment plan/services, the Mobile Crisis Professional will:
   
   
   
   1. plan and lead treatment team meetings for the purpose of creating treatment plans/ISP
   
   
   2. work with team members to develop ownership for the treatment plan/ISP
   
   
   3. write and utilize specific measurable goals, objectives, and time frames for each child and family
   
   
   4. develop crisis plan for each child and family
   
   
   
   


3. Treatment Plan/ISP implementation. To assure the implementation and evaluation of effective treatment plans that fosters goal attainment, the Mobile Crisis Professional will:
   
   
   
   1. deliver services outlined in treatment plan/ISP
   
   
   2. monitor and record client/family progress
   
   
   3. provide advocacy for family to outside agencies
   
   
   4. evaluate and reform goals and objectives as necessary
   
   
   5. provide support to families in times of crisis          
   
   
   
   


4. Professional Relationships and Therapeutic Alliance. To assure the development and maintenance of good working relationships, the Mobile Crisis Professional will collaborate with:
   
   
   
   1. consumer child, family and their natural support system
   
   
   2. internal and external stakeholders
   
   
   3. program team members and
   
   
   4. supervisor and organizational support staff
   
   
   
   


5. Quality Assurance & Compliance. To assure adherence to quality standards and compliance with external licensing and regulatory agencies, the Mobile Crisis Professional will:
   
   
   
   1. comply with Pressley’s standards and state licensing requirements
   
   
   2. exemplify the values of the program service model
   
   
   3. complete all paper work in a timely and professional manner
   
   
   4. produce billable units that will meet the program’s requirements
   
   
   5. maintain flexibility and creativity in working a non-traditional schedule to accommodate the needs of children and families
   
   
   
   


6. Professional development. To assure continuous professional growth and development, the Mobile Crisis Professional will:
   
   
   
   1. actively participate in individual and/or group supervision and staff meetings
   
   
   2. attend and participate in all required and other professional trainings independently seek out resources and learning opportunities to foster ongoing professional growth
   
   
   
   

Qualifications

• 
  

  Requires a Bachelor's or better in Human Services or related field.

  
  


• 
  

  Master's or better in Human Services or related field is preferred.

  
  


• 
  

  Requires at least one year of supervised experience with children and/or families is required. Two years of experience is preferred.

  
  


• 
  

  Clearances. State Police; FBI clearance; child abuse clearance; CPSL Mandated Reporter-Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse training; any additional background checks/clearances required by state governing bodies.

  
  


• Valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.
