Job Description - Mobile Crisis Supervisor



Full-time


Description

UCFS is currently seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Services Outpatient Supervisor to lead the day to day operations of clinical & administrative supervision and routine program(s) management for our community based EPMS Programs. The client population served by this program is children and youth in acute psychiatric crisis within the community.

$5000 sign -on bonus

Essential Responsibilities –

  • Provide routine program(s) management, including maintain current knowledge and adherence to parameters of contractual program(s) requirements; provide relational and consultative services internal & external to UCFS; serve as initial contract & community liaison; assist in preparation of, and continued adherence to program/department budget(s); provide for quality program(s) data management and output; assist in preparation of contracts, grant applications, department policies & procedures and overall growth of BHS Community Based Services as requested.
  • Provide ongoing clinical oversight and supervision, and be available for consultation & crisis intervention, referrals, training or other; organize and lead clinical team meetings; review counseling/clinical interventions, treatment episodes & progress, and therapeutic treatment plans; monitor team performance on achievement of approved outcome standards and related other.
  • Provide for day to day program(s) administration and output of EMPS; assign caseloads and monitor workflow, quality, productivity; administer EMPS & UCFS policies & procedures; supervise staff with full responsibility for all personnel actions; collaborate externally & internally; resolve obstacles & challenges; ensure mandated clinical record keeping in accordance to State, Federal and Agency and payor source standards of practice; provide for systems mgmt., and any/all related other
  • Serve as program, contract and community liaison; oversee ED project & ED personnel; partake in case conferences &/or program meetings regionally , statewide, etc. as directed by funding source or mgmt.; collaborate regularly with funding sources to evaluate process, service delivery & scope, outcomes, referrals &/or team problem solving; coordinate processes and improvements interdepartmentally; partake in community events and activities, UCFS management meetings, trainings and related other.
  • Ensure that our subcontracting agency is complying with the scope of service; monitor, collaborate, direct and facilitate as needed.
  • Create and implement a marketing plan for all of Eastern Connecticut specific to the scope of services for the target population.
  • Keep abreast of current trends and clinical practices, including evidence based practices to provide for BHS future implementation; may involve research, analysis, development of recommended implementation plan, including model sustainability with fidelity.
  • Maintain professional competency of staff and self by providing in-service education, keeping abreast of changes in the profession, reviewing credentials annually in conjunction with performance evaluations, and recommending staff for continuing education

Requirements

Qualifications –

  • Masters degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, and/or psychology.
  • Minimum of five – seven years related experience, to include at least 3years in a supervisory capacity ***(in rare & exceptional cases our funding sources may agree to an educational/experiential equivalency) ***
  • Current certification as a Connecticut LCSW, LMFT, or LPC
  • Valid Connecticut drivers license is required
