Mobile Deposit Processor

Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the position of a full-time Mobile Deposit Processor in Plano, TX. The Mobile Deposit Processor is responsible for implementing existing policies, procedures, and systems involving deposits submitted through mobile banking and remote deposit capture. Ensures that daily remote deposit reviews are properly conducted and completed along with other tasks such as placing holds, reviewing account activity, and sending customer notices.

• Complete mobile check deposit review
• Provide branch assistance with questions regarding mobile/RDC deposits
• Place/extend account holds where necessary and document findings
• Conduct account research to ensure fraud mitigation
• Examine all checks received within the bank’s limits according to Bank procedure.
• Assist staff with account research.
• Identify, escalate and assist in resolving systemic issues and/or process breakdowns
• Meet deposit deadlines daily
• Work independently with minimal supervision

Education / Experience Preferred:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, some college preferred
• 2 – 3 years bank operations, fraud or branch experience preferred
• Previous experience with Regulation CC preferred.
• Must have demonstrated ability to monitor and review account and transactional data for suspicious activity and possible fraud
• Must possess the ability to apply sound judgement, effectively solve problems and determine fraudulent activity consistently.
• Must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a changing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Access as well as comfort with assorted bank software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Must be detail oriented, analytical, and organized
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Comfortable in a repetitive environment
• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment

Pay is dependent on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and location.
