Mobile Equipment Servicer

JP Logistics & Consulting LLC (JPLC) is seeking a talented Mobile Equipment Servicer to work in a unique, dynamic environment. 

Location: Tyndall AFB, FL

Job Start Date: April 1, 2027

Hours of Operation: 07:00 AM - 4:00 PM – May be required to work outside normal hours

Salary: $ 18.37 per hour  

Scope: Operating from a mobile fuel station and/or tanker, the Mobile Equipment Servicer performs one or more of the following duties: supplies all types of vehicles with gasoline or diesel fuel, and records mileage and tag numbers; checks fluid levels, battery, cooling system, and engine oil; checks tires for wear and pressure, replaces wiper blades, fuses, sealed beam lights, and light bulbs. Inspects equipment and performs preventive maintenance services, changes oil and filters, lubricates and greases vehicles, washes and cleans interiors and exteriors of vehicles; maintains inventories of parts and supplies; and cleans and maintains work areas. Performs additional duties as required.

Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen.


• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Must have experience in wiring, electronics, automotive mechanical repairs, welding, and machine shop fundamentals.


• Must be able to speak fluent English.


• Must possess a valid driver's license.


• Must obtain a favorable trustworthiness determination.


• Must pass pre-employment drug testing.


• Must be Flexible.

Contingency Situations:

Able to respond to certain after-hours work (additional workload, natural disasters, military peacetime and wartime contingency operations/exercises, serious accidents, civil disturbances, major mobilization, or repatriation of non-combatants) may necessitate the employee being flexible in arranging different levels of support, which may include overtime work.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

• Must completely understand and be physically capable of performing all aspects of the mission.


• Must be capable of working in an outside environment, exposed to heat, dust, inclement weather, primarily standing on hard surfaces for up to 8 hours in a workday.
