Salary: Up to $72,800.00 (Depending on Experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Heavy Equipment Manufacturing Mechanic to diagnose, repair, maintain, and assemble large-scale machinery such as cranes, bulldozers, and mining equipment. This role requires expertise in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, ensuring all equipment meets manufacturer specifications prior to delivery or deployment.

Assembly & Installation

    • Assemble, set up, and test new heavy equipment
    • Install engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and related components

Diagnostics & Troubleshooting

    • Utilize computerized diagnostic tools to identify malfunctions
    • Troubleshoot engine failures and electrical system faults

Quality Control

    • Test assembled or repaired equipment to ensure proper performance
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations

Documentation

    • Maintain accurate records of equipment condition, repairs performed, and time spent on tasks

Required Skills & Qualifications

    • Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic systems and electrical troubleshooting
    • High school diploma or GED required; technical school training or apprenticeship preferred
    • Ability to lift heavy parts (75+ lbs)
    • Comfortable working in awkward positions and in noisy, dirty, or outdoor environments
    • Proficient with hoists, jacks, hand tools, and diagnostic software
    • Valid driver’s license (must meet insurance requirements)
Working Conditions

This position may involve working in manufacturing facilities, service shops, or in the field at construction or mining sites. Work may be performed in various weather conditions and may require overtime and weekend hours as needed.
