Knowledge & Skills

• Travel to customer locations to perform oil changes, fluid checks, and other preventative maintenance on Class 6,7,8 trucks


• Inspect vehicle systems including engine, transmission, drive line, brake and cooling systems for potential maintenance issues.


• Replace oil filters, fuel filters, and other serviceable components according to manufacturer specifications


• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and inspection reports


• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of oils, lubricants, and waste materials in compliance with environmental regulations


• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify maintenance needs or mechanical concerns


• Communicate findings and recommend services to customers in a clear professional manner


• Knowledgeable of proper repair techniques using equipment and tools


• Learns & understands the complete service repair order (RO) process


• Understands and follows all warranty procedures


• Understands and follows all safety protocols in a mobile setting


• Practices good housekeeping when maintaining mobile truck, tools and inventory


• Stays abreast of state-of-the-art techniques when repairing vehicle systems

Qualifications

• At least 2-3 years of automotive, Ag, or diesel technician experience preferred


• Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills


• Must be detailed oriented


• Must have a clean driving record; Commercial driver's license preferred, but not required


• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old


• Must be able to pass a background check, drug test and physical


• Must be able to frequently lift 10 to 75 lbs. without assistance


• Must be able to manage all weather elements - heat, cold, wind, wetness and humidity
