POSITION TITLE: Mobile Pantry Coordinator
RESPONSIBLE TO: Partnerships and Mobile Pantry Manager
HOURS: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends
CLASS: Non-exempt, hourly
COMPENSATION: $19.50 - $21.75/hour, depending on experience. +$1/hr pay differential for bilingual Spanish/English proficiency.
BENEFITS: Eligible for health, vision, and dental insurance the first of the month following 30 days of employment with other benefits eligibility after a 90-day mutual introductory period is completed. Eligible for FFLC-sponsored benefits (e.g. paid time off benefits such as holidays, floating days, vacation and sick).
ABOUT US: Food for Lane County’s mission is to reduce hunger by engaging our community to create access to food. Our vision is to end hunger in Lane County. Our Mobile Pantry program accomplishes this by bringing food to places where food pantries don’t yet exist or have limited hours. With our pop-up style free food markets, we reach neighborhoods and communities that may not otherwise be able to access this important resource.

SUMMARY OF POSITION: This position co-coordinates Food for Lane County’s Mobile Pantry Program. The purpose of the Mobile Pantry is to deliver food assistance to eligible people at times and locations that are not currently served by one of Food for Lane County’s partner agencies or other service providers. This position serves as the pantry manager and works closely with the Bilingual Mobile Pantry Coordinator and other Food for Lane County (FFLC) staff.

Operation of Mobile Food Pantry
Program Tracking and Compliance
Education and Outreach
Budget and fiscal oversight
OTHER TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
WORKING CONDITIONS: A considerable amount of work is done outdoors in all-weather with some exposure to exhaust from vehicles, dust, and dirt. Physical labor includes frequent standing, frequent bending, frequent stooping, frequent crouching, frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs.), frequent carrying, frequent pushing, frequent pulling, frequent reaching and frequent walking to perform tasks, and operate warehouse equipment.
* The use of a smart phone will be necessary to meet the requirements of this position. FFLC will provide a monthly reimbursement towards a personal phone plan.
