Job Summary

We are seeking a Floater to join our team. In this role, you will collect blood, tissue, and fluid samples from patients. This is a role that can make a significant impact on people’s lives.

Responsibilities

Prioritize requests for sample collection based on urgency

Collect patients’ personal information

Determine the correct venipuncture method for each patient

Provide patients with reassurance during the collection process

Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood and collect urine

Correctly label samples and send them for testing

Data entry

Provide coverage in multiple locations when need it

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician

Phlebotomy diploma required

Knowledge of best practices in patient identification methods

Familiarity with the legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples

Strong computer and data entry skills

Schedule

On call (we need someone with open availability, driver license and willing to drive more than 50+ miles)

Compensation: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
