Job Description - Mobile Service and Pick up and Delivery Appointment Coordinator



Job Summary: Ziems Ford Corners is seeking an enthusiastic, friendly, and personable individual to join our Service Department as a Mobile Service & Pickup/Delivery Appointment Coordinator! This dual-role position involves managing customer service appointments and coordinating vehicle pickup and delivery services, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our customers. Your primary responsibilities as a Pick-up and Delivery Coordinator include coordinating with our service department to arrange and pick-up customers vehicles that are scheduled for service, as well as delivering them back to our customers after the service work has been completed. In many instances, you will be the first and last point of contact with our customers. You will be responsible for coordinating drivers under your jurisdiction to accomplish these tasks. You must possess the ability to work as a team, and create a positive work environment for those you interact with. The responsibilities as a Mobile Service appointment coordinator include making outbound calls to solicit service work for our Mobile Service technicians, as well as fielding inbound calls from customers wanting to schedule service with our technicians.

Mobile Service/Pick-up and Delivery Appointment Coordinator Responsibilities:



  • Meet and greet customers in a professional manner in-person & on the phone

  • Provide basic information to customers who have general inquiries

  • Handle customer concerns with integrity and poise

  • Other duties as assigned by manager


Mobile Service/Pick-up and Delivery Appointment Coordinator Requirements:



  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Experience using Microsoft Office and Excel

  • Ability to work effectively with customers and employees while handling multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check


Mobile Service Appointment Coordinator:




  • Phone Management: Answer incoming service department phone calls and inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and support.


  • Appointment Scheduling: Navigate the Dealer Management System (DMS) to create and manage customer profiles, add or delete vehicles, and coordinate service appointments for all Service Technicians.


  • Accurate Appointment Creation: Ensure service appointments accurately reflect the requested services or customer concerns.


  • Multi-tasking: Maintain an organized workflow to ensure timely and quality service for each customer, managing multiple requests simultaneously.


  • Information Gathering: Collect necessary information to efficiently dispatch customers to the appropriate personnel, addressing their concerns thoughtfully.
