Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Mobile Service Technician to join our team. This individual will perform maintenance and light repair work at customer locations using a fully equipped mobile service vehicle. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, professional, and able to deliver top-quality service while representing the Lou Fusz brand in the field.

This is a union position that is governed by the District No. 9, International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers A.F.L. -  C.I.O.:

Responsibilities

• 
  

  Perform on-site vehicle maintenance and light repairs such as oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, filters, and fluid services.

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct multi-point inspections and document service recommendations.

  
  


• 
  

  Drive and operate the mobile service vehicle safely and efficiently.

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle’s condition, needed repairs, and estimated completion time.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain accurate service records and ensure all work meets Ford Motor Company and Lou Fusz standards.

  
  


• 
  

  Keep the mobile unit stocked, organized, and clean, ensuring all tools and equipment are maintained properly.

  
  


• 
  

  Adhere to all safety guidelines and company procedures.

  
  


• 
  

  Provide a high level of customer service while promoting the dealership’s commitment to convenience and quality.

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or ASE certification preferred.

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum 2 years of experience as an automotive technician or similar role.

  
  


• 
  

  Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various outdoor conditions.
