Mobile Service Technician

JAGUAR LAND ROVER VOLVO MADISON is expanding and improving the services we provide to our customers. We are seeking an experienced technician who also has excellent communication skills to perform small repairs, parts replacements, recalls, and miscellaneous diagnostic troubleshooting at our customers home or place of business. You will be given a dispatch list daily for the repairs we would like to complete that day. You will also be given a vehicle to make the daily runs. Must have good organizational skills and be capable of managing your day. Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record. Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.


• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.


• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.


• Communicate directly with the customer to keep them informed and explain any additional service is needed.  Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.


• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• Experienced - 2+ years of Service Technician experience required.


• A level qualification, including Diagnostic skills and troubleshooting.


• Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent.


• Excellent customer service skills


• Basic Computer skills


• Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality


• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.


• Team player


• Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record according to dealership guidelines.


• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.


• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
