Mobile Service Director

Walterboro Ford is looking for a hands-on Mobile Service Director to grow our mobile service business and oversee our rental and loaner fleet and Ford Pickup & Delivery operations.

We need someone who can turn opportunities into appointments, keep technicians and drivers productive, control expenses, and deliver a customer experience that brings people back.

Prior mobile service experience is strongly preferred and will receive significant consideration.

What You’ll Lead

• 
  

  Mobile Service: Manage technicians, scheduling, dispatch, route planning, equipment readiness, service quality, and profitability.

  Business Development: Build relationships with local businesses and fleet customers, develop recurring maintenance opportunities, and grow repeat business.

  
  


• 
  

  Rental and Loaner Fleet: Oversee reservations, agreements, vehicle assignments, inspections, maintenance, returns, utilization, and expense control.

  
  


• 
  

  Ford Pickup & Delivery: Coordinate drivers, customer transportation appointments, vehicle handling, communication, documentation, and eligible reimbursement.

  Team Performance: Train employees, set clear expectations, address performance issues, and hold the team accountable.

  Customer Experience: Keep customers informed, resolve concerns, and make doing business with Walterboro Ford convenient and dependable.

  
  

Who We’re Looking For

• 
  

  Automotive service leadership experience with responsibility for people, customer satisfaction, and financial results.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong preference for candidates with direct mobile service experience, especially those who have successfully grown or managed an operation.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with fleet accounts, rental and loaner management, dispatch, or pickup and delivery is a plus.

  
  


• 
  

  The ability to develop business while managing daily operations.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong organization, communication, scheduling, and expense-management skills.

  
  


• 
  

  A valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable under dealership insurance requirements.

  
  

What Success Looks Like

You will be expected to grow profitable service volume, improve technician productivity, keep our fleet ready and available, deliver reliable pickup and delivery, and manage expenses closely.

You should know your numbers, recognize problems early, and bring a clear plan to fix them.
