We’re hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician to work on-site at customer locations performing repairs, diagnostics, PMs, and inspections on heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
This is a great fit for someone who:
- knows their way around a truck
- likes working independently
- doesn’t want to be stuck inside a shop all day
- can diagnose and repair equipment without needing constant supervision
If you’re the type who can pull up to a customer, figure out the issue, and get it handled professionally—you’ll do well here.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a mobile tech, you’ll be dispatched to customer locations to perform service and repairs in the field.
Typical work includes:
- Preventive Maintenance (PM services)
- DOT / Federal Inspections
- Brake repair and diagnostics
- Wheel end repairs
- Suspension and steering repairs
- Air system diagnosis and repair
- Starting / charging system diagnostics
- Battery, starter, and alternator replacement
- Bolt-on engine component replacement
- turbos
- water pumps
- air compressors
- fan drives
- manifolds
- Basic HVAC service
- Tire service and general roadside / on-site repairs
- Minor driveline and undercarriage repairs
If it can be repaired in the field, there’s a good chance you’ll be doing it.
What We’re Looking For
We want someone who can work on their own, stay productive, and represent the company well in front of customers.
You should be:
- Comfortable working without a foreman standing next to you
- Able to diagnose issues instead of just throwing parts at trucks
- Organized enough to keep your service truck and jobs in order
- Professional with customers
- Reliable, motivated, and able to manage your day well
This is not the right fit for someone who needs to be constantly directed or checked on.
Required Experience
- 2+ years of heavy-duty diesel repair experience
- Experience working on:
- heavy-duty trucks
- trailers
- air brake systems
- suspension and steering systems
- wheel ends
- electrical / charging systems
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently in the field
Strongly preferred:
- CDL
- DOT inspection certification
- Experience in mobile service / field service
- HVAC / A/C experience
- Alignment experience

Work Environment
This is a field service position, so you’ll be working:
- outside
- at customer yards and job sites
- in all weather conditions
- around trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment
You’ll need to be comfortable with:
- bending
- lifting
- crawling
- standing for extended periods
- lifting up to 50 lbs
