Position: Mobile PICC Registered Nurse (San Antonio, TX)
Location: San Antonio, Texas & surrounding areas
Schedule: PRN with opportunity for consistent assignments

About the Role:
We’re seeking an experienced and reliable Mobile PICC Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the San Antonio, TX, area. This is a mobile position, meaning you’ll travel to various healthcare facilities and patient homes to perform vascular access procedures, with a primary focus on PICC line insertions.

The ideal candidate is confident, independent, and highly skilled in ultrasound-guided PICC placement. You must be able to work with minimal supervision and maintain excellent communication with patients, families, and providers.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform ultrasound-guided PICC line insertions in home health and facility settings

Conduct patient assessments and evaluate site suitability for vascular access

Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with clinical protocols

Communicate effectively with care teams and case managers

Provide post-procedure education and support to patients and families

Requirements:

Active RN license in the state of Texas

Minimum of 1 year of independent PICC line insertion experience (not just assisting)

Proficiency with ultrasound-guided vascular access

Strong communication and documentation skills

Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the greater San Antonio area

Ability to work independently and troubleshoot in the field

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous mobile or home health experience

Midline or other vascular access skills a plus
