Position: Mobile PICC Registered Nurse (San Antonio, TX)

About the Role:
We’re seeking an experienced and reliable Mobile PICC Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the San Antonio, TX, area. This is a mobile position, meaning you’ll travel to various healthcare facilities and patient homes to perform vascular access procedures, with a primary focus on PICC line insertions.
The ideal candidate is confident, independent, and highly skilled in ultrasound-guided PICC placement. You must be able to work with minimal supervision and maintain excellent communication with patients, families, and providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound-guided PICC line insertions in home health and facility settings
- Conduct patient assessments and evaluate site suitability for vascular access
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with clinical protocols
- Communicate effectively with care teams and case managers
- Provide post-procedure education and support to patients and families
Requirements:
Active RN license in the state of Texas
- Minimum of 1 year of independent PICC line insertion experience (not just assisting)
Proficiency with ultrasound-guided vascular access
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the greater San Antonio area
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot in the field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous mobile or home health experience
- Midline or other vascular access skills a plus
