Modem Test EngineerLocation : MTV, CA (Onsite) Job Description:Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field.8+ years of hands-on testing experience in 5G/4G/3G Cellular modem chipset or device (UE) Protocol conformance, performance, and interoperability.Strong understanding of 3GPP and Carrier specifications for LTE and NR.Execute test plans targeting 5G NR and LTE L2/L3 protocol features (RLC, PDCP, MAC, RRC, NAS).Expertise in 3GPP/IMS Protocol call flows to analyze logs and troubleshoot issues in UE/network protocol interactions.Ability to isolate complex issues across multiple protocol layers and identify root causes using trace analysis tools.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead and drive testing activities.Hands-on experience with test equipment for GCF, PTCRB, Carrier certification (e.g., Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz).Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) testing experience is highly desirable.
